The dreadful 24 Hour EEG

Two nights ago, Carter started making movements that looked like muscle spasms. Only lasting less than a second each, I wasn't too concerned until he looked like he was out of it. And I could not bring him back to my world. I managed to get some movement on video and to the neurologist it went.

Fast forward to today and we now have a 24 hour EEG scheduled for June 13. FUCK, I am aggravated. This baby has been through hell and I really am not looking forward to adding anything else to his regimen. 

We have done so well not having a true specialist appointment for months. He has been progressing and gaining weight. Only one fever for a few days, but nothing extraordinary. Now this crap.

I am breathing and eating and trying my best not to worry or stress because what is that really going to help? Nothing. I have a great support system, thankfully, and some really knowledgeable people in my life, so I am confident we will make this work. I am going to take the nontraditional route, per usual, and start with Palmetto Harmony CBD oil if this truly is seizures. I want him on something natural with proven results, not some intense medication that might hinder his progress and take my man's personality away. Hell no. 

We have worked too damn hard to get where we are.
